Trying it properly
Up to two horses the product is free permanently, so the cheapest way to answer most of these questions is to use it on real data for a week. Above that size, every paid plan opens with thirty days free and asks for no card, which is long enough to cover a billing cycle and one genuinely awkward week.

What this page is not
It is not a contract. Where an answer touches on data protection or on what you are charged, the privacy policy and the terms are the documents that govern, and both are linked in the footer of every page.
Getting help once you are in
Support is by email, in any of the nine languages the product speaks. There is no phone queue and no ticket tier that has to be bought.

Pricing and plans
How much does StudPulse cost?
It is free for up to two horses, permanently and with every feature. Above that the price depends on one thing only — how many horses are in your yard — and every paid plan starts with thirty days free without a card.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. Up to two horses it is free indefinitely, with nothing disabled and no expiry. It becomes chargeable only if your yard grows past two horses.
Do I pay per user?
No. Users are unlimited on every plan including the free one. Staff, instructors, vets, horse owners and clients can all have their own login at no extra cost.
Are any features held back for a bigger plan?
No. Every feature is available at every size — voice logging, the AI assistant, breeding, finance, bookings, payments and client access. Only the horse count changes the price.
What happens if my horse count changes?
The price follows it. The rate is continuous rather than banded, so adding a horse moves the price a little instead of pushing you into a new tier, and removing one moves it back.
What about more than 60 horses?
That is quoted individually and includes onboarding and help migrating existing records. At that size getting the data in is the larger job.
Which currency am I billed in?
Polish yards are billed in PLN and other markets in EUR. Prices shown are net of VAT.
The AI assistant
Does the AI make things up about my horses?
It is not permitted to answer about your yard without reading the records first, and when a record has no notes it says so rather than inventing content. That is a constraint on how it works, not a claim that the model is careful.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Vet records, owner names and staff notes go only to providers that do not retain or train on them, and conversation, speech and search are routed to different providers so no single vendor holds your whole yard.
What languages does the assistant speak?
Nine: English, Polish, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Ukrainian, Arabic and Chinese. You can speak to it and read its answers in any of them.
Can the AI give veterinary advice?
It reports what your records show and what a curated equine reference says, and it raises emergencies — colic, dystocia, acute lameness, severe bleeding — before anything else. Any clinical judgement carries the caveat that it needs a physical examination. It does not replace your vet.
Can I log records by speaking?
Yes. Treatments, feeds, training sessions and weights can all be entered by voice, and a record created that way is marked as having come from speech.
Breeding and stallions
Does it calculate foaling dates?
Yes. Enter the covering date and StudPulse produces the expected foaling date, tracks the pregnancy through its checks and ultrasounds, and flags a mare whose pre-foaling examination is overdue.
Does it suggest which stallion to use for a mare?
No. There is no genetic model, no inbreeding coefficient and no scoring of a proposed pairing. It records the pedigrees and breeding history a decision is made from, then schedules, tracks and bills the decision you make.
Does it keep pedigrees?
Each horse record carries its sire and dam, breed, colour, date of birth, microchip and registration details, so a foal is linked to both parents as soon as it is entered.
Can mare owners see their own mare's pregnancy?
Yes. An owner gets their own login and sees their horse, its pregnancy and checks, and what they owe. They see nothing about the rest of the yard.
Bookings and payments
Can clients book and pay online?
Yes. Clients book from your public profile and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Polish yards settling in PLN can also take BLIK and Przelewy24.
Can my clients pay with BLIK?
Only if your yard is registered in Poland and settles in PLN — BLIK and Przelewy24 are offered to Polish accounts. A yard settling in another currency will see card and wallet payments instead.
Does StudPulse hold my money?
No. Each yard connects its own Stripe account and payments settle there directly. StudPulse is not an intermediary and never holds your takings.
Can someone pay without creating an account?
Yes. Staff can generate a pay link for any charge and send it by message or email. The link lasts seven days and only one can be active per charge at a time.
Can it stop double bookings?
Yes. A booking blocks every resource it needs — the arena, the horse and the instructor — for the length of the session, so the same one cannot be committed twice.
Data and security
Where is my data hosted?
Application data is hosted in the European Union. Some supporting services run from data centres in the United States under the safeguards named in the privacy policy.
Can other yards see my records?
No. Records belong to an organisation and are isolated at that boundary in the query itself, and files are stored per organisation too.
Can my staff see the yard's finances?
Only if their role allows it. Permissions are enforced on the server rather than by hiding parts of the interface, so they hold even against a request made directly to the API.
Do you support two-factor authentication?
Yes — a six-digit code emailed at sign-in, plus single-use recovery codes and trusted devices you can remember. There is no authenticator-app option today.
Getting started and leaving
How long does it take to set up?
Adding horses and stalls takes an afternoon for a small yard. What takes longer is entering history, and you do not have to: the product is useful from the day you start recording forward.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. The privacy policy sets out how to request an export or deletion. Nothing about leaving is designed to be harder than joining.
Does it replace my accountant?
No. It is operational bookkeeping — what came in, what went out, who owes what and what each horse costs. It does not file tax returns or produce statutory accounts, but it hands your accountant a year that is already categorised with the receipts attached.
