Delete your StudPulse account

Deleting your account from the app

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without contacting us. The steps are the same in the Android and iOS apps and in the web application at app.studpulse.com:

  1. Sign in to StudPulse.
  2. Open your profile menu by tapping your name and profile picture at the bottom of the side menu. On a phone, open the side menu first with the menu button (☰) in the top-left corner.
  3. Choose Account and tap Delete account — or choose Security and open the Delete account tab.
  4. Tap Delete my account.
  5. Enter your password and type the confirmation word DELETE. Your account is deleted and anonymised immediately, and this cannot be undone.

If you do not know your password

If a barn invited you and you never set a password, or you have forgotten it, tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen, set a new password from the email we send you, and then follow the steps above.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@studpulse.com from the address on the account. We will verify that the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Immediately and permanently:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and password
  • Your profile photo
  • Your registered devices and push notification tokens
  • Your two-step verification data and trusted devices
  • All your conversations with the AI assistant: the conversation history, the text of every question and answer, and your voice transcripts
  • Your personal activity log
  • Your membership of every barn you belong to, and with it your access

What is kept, and why

Three categories of record survive, with your name removed so they no longer identify you:

  • Invoices and payment records. Accounting law requires us to retain these for a fixed period; we cannot delete them on request, and neither can you.
  • The barn's own operating records — lessons, bookings, and horse care history, including notes you dictated by voice that became barn records. These belong to the stable rather than to you personally, and deleting them would destroy another business's records. After your account is deleted they no longer carry your name.
  • Technical AI usage counters — the number of tokens used and their cost, which we need for billing. They contain nothing you wrote or said.

If you run a barn

If you are the only administrator of a stable, deleting your account also closes that stable: nobody can sign in to it any more. Its records are kept — for example invoices, which the law requires us to retain. The app names the stables that would be closed and asks you to confirm before anything is deleted. If the stable should keep running, first make somebody else its administrator, then delete your account.

Using the same email again

Deleting your account releases your email address. You can sign up again with it later; the new account starts empty and is not connected to the old one.
